MOUNTAINSIDE

Hiking

Reunion Island is an ideal and essential destination for hikers. In 2010, Unesco inscribed its "pitons, cirques and ramparts" on the list of natural world heritage properties.
Discover without waiting the volcano, the cirques of Salazie, Mafate and Cilaos !

Rafting

If you have the opportunity to visit the east coast of the island and looking for a thrill, water trekking or rafting is for you. From the Peace Basin to the Niagara Falls, explore our waterfalls and rivers that will no longer hold any secrets for you.

Mountain Bike

From the point of view of the cirque of Mafate to the swinging blades of Saint- Gilles-les-Bains, this exceptional trail allows everyone, beginners or experienced, to practice, discover and appreciate wild with the possibility of lunch.

Potholing / Spelunking / Caving

Live a unique experience in the heart of the volcano, starting at 35 euros per person. You will have the choice between several lava tunnels in Saint-Gilles, Sainte- Rose or Piton de la Fournaise.

Canyoning

The canyons of Réunion are world-famous. The three cirques, the forest of Bébour, Bélouve, and the wild south offer us a hundred canyons each one as magnificent as the next one.

SEASIDE

Jet-Sky

For water sports and thrill-seekers, try jet-skiing, hopefully, escorted by dolphins. The prices are around 100 € per hour, however, do not hesitate to negotiate the prices.

Deep Sea Fishing

If you are a fishing enthusiast and want to discover the many species of fish in Réunion, let yourself be tempted by a unique sport fishing excursion. For a half-day of fishing, the prices are around 80 to 100 € per fisherman and 50 to 60 € per guide

Whale & Dolphin Watching

Several companies make outsea tours to meet dolphins and whales during the southern winter. From June to October, humpback whales leave Antarctica towards Réunion to give birth in Réunion waters. Now is the perfect time to observe them. It is a pleasant sea trip with a tasting of local treats.

Lagoon

The west coast is home to a lagoon with translucent and warm waters all year round (between 22ºC and 29ºC). It is protected by a huge coral reef several kilometers long. Discover a real colorful aquarium using a simple mask and snorkel.

SKY SIDE

Paragliding

Saint-Leu has been organizing an international paragliding competition every year since 1990. It is a flagship event for the town and the whole island.

ULM

Several companies offer to fly over the island and enjoy the landscapes of Réunion. The nearest track is at Le Port, a town bordering St Paul, a 20-minute drive from the hotel.

Helicopter

Two companies share the helicopter overflights of Réunion. This is a more expensive alternative than the ULM but it has the advantage of being able to share the trip with the family (up to 6 people at the same time in the helicopter).
